Quaint Queen Anne Hideout
Known only to the few “West Edge” residence, Muse Cafe sits nestled just down the corner from 10th & Howe. Several years ago when I lived near by I would frequent the quaint cafe before it became Muse. It had been a couple years since I visited this quaint corner of QA but when my friend Melody organized a meeting here I was very impressed.
The atmosphere is a laid back, warm and modern. Like many other cafes, Muse hosts local artists’ work. What I feel really sets this cafe apart is the constant buzz of entrepreneurial independents. Sure, the self-employed often find a cafe or coffee shop to frequent, but rarely do those places harvest community and build strong relationships. I’ve made several connections here at Muse and am always excited to see who walks in the door. Some come here everyday calling it their living room.
Oh, and a not-so-minor-detail, their coffee is fantastic. Be sure to introduce yourself to Brent when you visit. Tell him Erin sent you and he’ll take care of you!
